Hi! I'm Tava - Owner and Registered Dietitian at Hub Healthy.

I use functional nutrition to help women find answers and feel great.

What we eat drives how our entire body functions. But it’s hard to know what to eat when nothing seems to make you feel good and you’re swamped with everyday life.

Trying to experiment with elimination diets on your own can feel overwhelming and diet is only a piece of the puzzle, meaning you probably won’t end up seeing the results you’re looking for. Plus, you might be just as confused about what your body actually needs to thrive.

If you’re like many women I’ve worked with, you’re sick of not feeling your best!

Sometimes we prioritize our work, partners, family, dog, and so on and we forget that we can actually prioritize your own health. Don’t be at the bottom of your own priority list.

FEATURED IN

As someone who has lost both of my parents to cancer, I am intimately aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Genes are one important part of our health, but it’s not the only part. Our lifestyle habits – your sleep, your ability to manage stress, and regular joyful movement – all play a powerful role, and can actually influence what your genes do.

Losing my parents so young pointed me on my path of becoming a Registered Dietitian.

I wanted to learn how to optimize my own health as well as to be able to effectively help my clients – just like you. And as a mother, when it never seems like you reach the bottom of your to-do list, I know how important it is for keeping up with your health to be to the point and easy to follow. Otherwise, those plans are just not gonna happen.

The truth is, being a Registered Dietitian practicing in the functional nutrition space sometimes makes me feel like I’m a superhero: I have the answers that your doctor says do not exist.

As a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I provide you with the accountability to make real, lasting progress.

No more confusion, no more pulling out (or losing) your hair. Nothing makes me more excited than when my clients start to feel like their best selves again.

Sometimes it has been years since they felt so good, and it is immensely rewarding to be a part of that transformation!

I am specially trained in functional nutrition, which means I help to determine the root cause of your symptoms, to permanently fix them, instead of masking the symptoms with medications.

Tava educated me on nutrition and lifestyle.

"I always thought I knew this stuff, but she filled in the blanks for me and it changed my life. We added in some vitamins, supplements and tweaked my food choices to get the most nutrient-rich diet.

She also focused on estrogen-eliminating foods because I was overloaded! With just a few small lifestyle changes and a little more education, I got my life back on track. I feel like myself again.

I am in control and confident. I truly feel like I these changes are why I was also able to get pregnant. Now I am living a healthy, happy life with my husband and 3-month-old baby. I am now effortlessly living the lifestyle that Tava taught me to live and I truly feel she changed my life!”

Tava is incredibly knowledgeable about how to obtain and maintain a healthy gut as well as a well rounded nutritional diet.

"I am a vegetarian and have had stomach and gall bladder issues for almost a year and my doctors kept telling me nothing was wrong. I spoke with Tava and she helped me to build a reasonable and delicious meal plan based on what I felt I could manage! She was incredibly supportive to my concerns and worked with me every step of the way. I am forever grateful, and very happy to say that after just 6 weeks my stomach issues are gone! She is truly a treasure and has helped change my daily life for the better. Thank you Tava!"

As a result of working with my Tava, my energy level is unreal.

"Before working with Tava, I was in a constant state of exhaustion and bloat. I woke up, had my cup of coffee, and my belly grew 3 sizes. I needed a nap every single day, and never ever felt like I had enough energy.

As a result of working with my Tava, my energy level is unreal, to the point where I can't believe I thought my old sluggish self was "normal."

I can go-go-go all day now and get so much more accomplished. If I miss a day of my supplements the difference is extremely noticeable for me. Working with Tava also helped me take a closer look at what I was eating, and really incorporate diversity and color into my meals. My bloat has gone away and my gut is just overall more comfortable.”

NO MORE QUICK FIXES.

NO MORE FAD DIETS.

I earned my degree in nutrition and dietetics at Simmons College and completed my dietetic internship at UMass Amherst.

I’ve been in private practice since 2014 and have continued my education with courses from The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy and with functional medicine physicians. Outside of work, I love baking, frequent visits to my local farmer’s market, hosting stroller-friendly workouts for fellow new moms and hosting annual yoga/clean living retreats.

I live in Boston, Massachusetts and help women both locally and nationally.

Our journey together starts with nurturing your body, beginning at the core: your gut.

And here's something I want you to know: Constant bloating, discomfort, moodiness, and anxiety are not your 'normal.' Let's redefine your health standard together.
